PDFCreator 1.4.0 released

We are happy to release PDFCreator 1.4.0 today. After a big bit of work, we have solved a lot of problems in the 1.3.x branch. There were some performance and ordering problems when converting a large amount of files. We have also fixed a lot of smaller, but nasty problems that were dicussed in the community. As always, you can find a detailed list in the What's new section on the site.

We hope that this release makes your life with the computer a bit easier!

I am attempting to create a .BAT install to deploy (if possible) on remote PCs, silently without installing COM Samples or PDFArchitect installed. Also, it seems the /NOICONS switch does not work as it still created teh shortcuts All Users\Desktop.

My full script:

Also, what are teh component name???

/COMP separated list of component names"
Overrides the default components settings. Using this command line parameter causes Setup to automatically select a custom type.

Bonjour,

PDFArchitect plante sur des fusions de gros fichiers car il prend trop de resource

par exemple sur des fichiers de 50 pages, en gros il prend entre 2 voir 5.5 GO de RAM, enorme !!!! pour fusionner un document

je ne sais comment fonctionne exactement ce logiciel mais il faut un pc avec 8 GO pour pas que ca plante

Bon courage pour resoudre ce probleme.

ps : pour un deploiement de votre logiciel en MSI j'utilise "EMCO MSI Package Builder Enterprise"(marche parfaitement dans mon entreprise) mais ce n'est pas une installation propre car c'est du snapchot :(, apres je n'ai pas utilisé le logiciel a fond par manque de temps

J'utilise PDF CREATOR 1.4.0, dans un programme de script, pour créer automatiquement des fichiers PDF à partir de fichiers .PS sans aucune intervention de l'utulisateur.

Toutefois après traitement je ne plus ouvrir PDF CREATOR à partir de l'icone sur le bureau. ????

Je n'ai pas ce problème avec la version 1.2.3
