Printing from linux using pdfcreator

Hi list,

We have built an application that is run on Linux, but is able to use a Windows printer.  However, we want to render the print locally on the Windows printer. So I thought I could use pdfcreator to use as a virtual printer that accepts a pdf and prints to a local printer using gsprint. Is that possible, and if so how?
