I was running PDFCreator version 1.2.2 and then a few weeks ago it stopped displaying the Save dialog and would not create a PDF. I tried many things, including looking for errors in the PDFCreator logfile, Windows Event Viewer. Uninstalling and re-installing version 1.2.3, in one case doing 'run as administrator' on the install. Checked the temp directory was created and I had access. Testpage would print okay.
It is now working after I installed version 1.2.0
My guess is a Windows 7 patch broke the latest version. I am running Win 7 64bit, with latest Windows Updates applied, and running Office 2007.
I see others have had a similar problem and this is what I had to do to get it to work.
